New Chapter, New Ideas

Updated: Aug 1, 2019

It's been a long road...but every bump and bruise has been worth it! I first caught the "radio bug" in 2005 when I left audio engineering school for an internship in Kansas City, MO. I was even criticized for not choosing to intern in New York, L.A. or Nashville but I've always wanted to go the non-conventional route. Besides, many fail to realized that Kansas City has a rich Jazz history with artists such as Charlie Parker, Norman Brown and even Burt Bacharach. I was determined to succeed so I was able to double my intern hours by volunteering at a record store and at a local radio station. Both were part time but I tried to be available as often as possible. That unwavering drive enabled me to finish my mandatory intern hours months ahead of schedule and I was offered more responsibilities at the station. Initially, I was just answering phones. Later, I was able to sit in on shows and watch other on-air host during their live broadcasts.....it was amazing! I know from that point on that radio broadcasting was in my future.

Fast forward to 2019 and I really feel that this is my calling. Music is constantly circulating in my head. There are times that I can have a conversation with someone and a song, that is relevant to the situation, will pop into my thoughts. CoHeir Multimedia is the result of years of discovering, studying, and expressing my musical awareness through either the vocals of another or one of my own musical compositions. I hope that you enjoy the ride...I know that I have. Lord willing, our best is yet to come.
